Caterer (off campus)
Requests for external catering exceptions shall be made to the Food Services Department no less than ten days before the date of the event and must be accompanied by a cheque for $500.00, a $5 million liability insurance certificate and a copy of the GREEN pass issued by the Toronto Public Health Department.

Section 5 - Insurance and Confirmation
Insurance Certificate:
(MADE OUT TO “YORK UNIVERSITY” 4700 KEELE STREET, TORONTO, ON M3J 1P3)

The Producer shall, at least seven (7) days prior to the Commencement Date, deliver to the Property Owner a Certificate of Insurance in the form provided for such purpose which is satisfactory to the Property Owner in its sole reasonable opinion. The following insurance is acquired and maintained by the Producer, at its sole cost and expense, and shall name the Producer as the named insured and the Property Owner as an additional insured:

(a) General Liability coverage with a minimum limit of $5,000,000 for loss, damage, injury or death arising out of any one occurrence;
(b) York University, its directors, governors, officers and employees are identified as additional insured;
(c) The certificate should include a cross-liability/severability of interest clause.
